In an alternate Ireland of 2016, a group of armed students called ‘The Right Fight’ occupy Longford Court House. They are protesting the Government’s new ‘Non-Irish’ laws which mean that only people born in Ireland are entitled to be Irish citizens.
We follow ‘The Right Fight’s executive council; Alison, Ben, Cathy, Dee & Ezra as they try and force the authorities to repeal their own decision. As the protest escalates, we see ‘ghosts’ of the events of 1916 as well as the role that the media, traditional and social, plays in everything we do in 2016.
